CARY  - Edward T. Mathes, of Cary, formerly of Mount Prospect, passed away Tuesday, Aug. 31, 2010. 

  

He was born Oct. 7, 1955. He was a security consultant for SafirRosetti. 

  

He was the beloved father, of Kaeli Mathes and Bridget Mathes; devoted brother, of Kay (Jerry) Markham and Daniel (Kathleen) Mathes; dear uncle, of Michelle (Bill) Seiler and Patrick (Sherry) Markham, Maureen (Steve) Matthews and Michael Mathes. He was the loving partner of Leslie Holliday and her family Jonathan and Harrison  Kuykendall.  

  

Visitation will be from 3 to 9 p.m. Friday, Sept. 3 at Friedrichs Funeral Home, 320 W. Central Road, at Northwest Highway, Mount Prospect. Memorial Services will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 4, at First United Methodist Church, 1903 N. Prindle, Arlington Heights.  

  

In lieu of flowers, memorials to Midwest Children's Brain Tumor Center or Bridget Mathes College Fund.
